My love for yoga began in 2008 when I walked into my first class at Hatha Yoga Studio in Hiroshima, Japan. Since then, yoga has remained a constant part of my life as I have explored a variety of disciplines, including Vinyasa, Bikram, Ashtanga, Restorative, and Yin, both in Japan and the United States.
Driven by a desire to share the transformative power of yoga with others, I completed my 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2019. Three years later, I was fortunate to open Wisteria Hot Yoga in 2022, creating a space where people can practice, connect, grow, and experience yoga beyond simply the physical postures.
My commitment to learning continued with the completion of my 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in January 2024. Now an E-RYT 500 and YACEP, I have expanded my passion for teaching into leading 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings, mentoring future instructors, and helping teachers deepen both their knowledge and confidence.
Yoga has also opened the door to another passion of mine: travel. Through international yoga retreats, I love bringing people together to experience new cultures, step outside of their everyday routines, and create meaningful connections—both with themselves and with others.
My teaching philosophy centers on empowering students to embrace their bodies as they are today while bridging the gap between yoga as physical exercise and yoga as a holistic way of living. Whether through a weekly class, teacher training, or a retreat across the world, my intention is to create experiences where people can breathe, move, sweat, learn, connect, and release tension—both physical and emotional.
Join me on the mat, in training, or somewhere around the world as we continue the journey of self-discovery, strength, connection, and inner peace.

My yoga journey began over 12 years ago, as I was searching for a release of anxiety and stress while juggling a full-time sport industry job and 3 children. I was in need of a release and some internal connection.
Through mindful breathing and movement, I had a breakthrough, and yoga became my health-giving art!
In my classes, I seek to bring a safe place for my students to create space, breathe, and find peace on their mat.
I love being able to watch confidence grow and witness discoveries that are life changing!
Yoga practice can be restoring for all, no matter of our background, skill level, or desire of improvement.

My connection with yoga began as a physical practice searching for strength, balance and flexibility in my body, as I continued attending classes and workshops I began to discover the mind body connection and desired a deeper understanding of yoga in all aspects. I completed yoga teacher training in Rolla Missouri in 2021.
My goal as a yoga teacher is to offer a safe space where practitioners can connect to their own journey with yoga, whether it be a purely physical experience, a practice seeking spiritual growth and emotional steadiness or anything in between. I find true joy in teaching and practicing in a yoga community that is safe, supportive, curious and encouraging.

I took my first yoga class in 2015 and never looked back. The challenge of balance and postures took me back to when I was a little girl in gymnastics.
And I wanted more.
It wasn’t until a year later that I realized the full benefits of yoga on my nervous system when driving home after a class. My body was so relaxed; I felt like I had just gotten a massage. The memory is still so vivid.
It was then that I started to dedicate more mental and emotional space to practice not just physical space.
My inspiration as an instructor is to guide you back home to your body.
My intention is to create a space that feels empowering and encouraging, where you can let go of the idea that your practice has to look perfect. To remind you that yoga is about reconnecting with yourself through breath, movement, and moments of stillness.

My personal journey started off all my life I have had anxiety and panic attacks. I was always into fitness, always pushing myself with weights and step aerobics as my whole life was like that pushing to be better at my job and all other things in life.
One day when I was at the gym, they gave yoga classes upstairs. The yoga instructor asked me to come up and try it, I thought no that's not for me. It's too slow, it's too calm. I gotta keep pushing myself.
But I tried it anyways and found a new love. I learned how to calm my mind, anxiety and panic attacks without medication.
So I want to share this love and peace with all my students to create clarity, calmness and mindfulness, as well as your work out but to take them through your life outside of the yoga studio. To me, Yoga is a workout with peace of mind.
Can't wait to meet you all on the mat.
Namaste.

Ashley’s love of yoga began early — it was the one activity in gym class she genuinely enjoyed and returned to again and again. While she participates in many forms of fitness, yoga has always remained her favorite because of its unique ability to connect movement, breath, and awareness.
In 2024, Ashley deepened her practice after attending classes at Wisteria Hot Yoga, where she discovered that yoga is much more than exercise. She earned her RYT-200 certification at Wisteria Hot Yoga in 2025.
Ashley has a special interest in teaching gentle and slow-flow vinyasa. She enjoys helping students adapt poses to fit their own bodies and feels especially passionate about welcoming newcomers to yoga. To her, yoga is about being present in the mind and mindful in the body.
